Victorian Table with Antiqued Floral Decoupage, featuring House of Hackney print in Pink.
An attractive Circular Occasional table with 2 tiers. I would say this is Edwardian so dates from around 1910’ish, made from mahogany.
Quite a delicate piece with dainty curved legs, so typical of the era and so so beautiful, they just don’t make things like this anymore.
To refurbish I have painted in black to add a sense of drama, I used Athenian Black by Annie Sloan and finished with wax and a little hint of gold gilding wax for some added sparkle. I also added decoupage in places, a fabulous design by House of Hackney with some pink tones; then distressed and overpainted to create an antique look in keeping with the style of the piece.
Please note the decoupaged areas have been sealed with gloss lacquer.
This would look great in a hallway, or used as a plant table in the corner of the lounge or bathroom, it’s these little touches that add a real sense of personality to a room.
In great condition for it’s age but please do consider that this piece is quite old and therefore will show some signs of use, it is quite lightweight as previously mentioned due to the shape and style.

Alternatively, you are very welcome to come and collect from my workshop in Leicestershire if preferred.
We aim to work with our couriers to achieve delivery within 2 weeks, however should this take any longer we will keep you updated.
Lastly please remember that this is a vintage piece, therefore it will show signs of character and slight wear unless otherwise specified. That being said we do refurbish all of our pieces to a good standard.

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
