Hand painted Carved Bureau Sideboard with Faded Palm Decoupage.

A stunning piece with French style carved details a plenty. It could be used as a Sideboard but I was thinking bar unit?! I can imagine this would look great stacked with glasses on top and bottles underneath in the cupboard space, a real show piece! 

Painted as part of Annie Sloan’s prestigious Painter in Residence Programme.

The frame is hand painted in a bespoke mix of blue and green then and waxed to protect, the paintwork has also been slightly distressed to add some warmth and character;  I then added decoupage to the door panels featuring a stunning palm print with a tropical feel, this has been aged a little to give a faded look to suit the style of the piece.

Completely unique and would look stunning in either a traditional or more modern dark interior; perhaps this could work as a sideboard in a hallway to create a beautiful and welcoming entrance.

In good condition however it has been used before therefore please expect some signs of wear, it does stand solid and the doors open and close smoothly, it is extra heavy. Please note the key shown in the photographs is included, however does not turn the locks.

Delivery

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.

When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.

We advise a usual delivery time of between 1  and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location. 

Return policy

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
