Mid Century Cabinet with original handles made by British Maker Lebus and refinished with inky blue and ginkgo decoupage.

Mid Century small cabinet with a drawer and cupboard featuring the original brass handles. Made by popular maker Lebus in the 1960’s (however not marked) and sits on retro styled legs.

To refinish this piece, the frame has been painted Farrow & Ball ‘Scotch Blue’ to contrast with the decoupaged door. This has been refinished with a luxury wallpaper design featuring ginkgo leaves in cyan blue, peach, lemon and pale pink. It has then been sealed with matt varnish to protect. I have left areas of natural wood on the edges of the drawers to highlight the design and I kept the handles with a brass finish to add to the character.

The cabinet stands level and the door and drawers open smoothly. 

In excellent condition.

We haven’t shown a delivery cost at this stage because it does vary depending on location, however the cost can be roughly estimated at £40 to Mainland UK. Please contact me for an exact quote if required, otherwise I will notify you of the actual cost once the piece has been purchased.

Alternatively, you are very welcome to come and collect from my workshop in Leicestershire if preferred.

We aim to work with our couriers to achieve delivery within 2 weeks, however should this take any longer we will keep you updated.

Lastly please remember that this is a vintage piece, therefore it will show signs of character and slight wear unless otherwise specified. That being said we do refurbish all of our pieces to a good standard.

Delivery

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.

When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.

We advise a usual delivery time of between 1  and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location. 

Return policy

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
