A stunning Antique early Victorian Chair, possibly Late Georgian made from Mahogany with a scrolled back, turned legs and carved details to the back. The seat is covered with a Teal leather'esque fabric which is a beautiful contemporary colour fastened with old metal studs.
The nicest feature to this chair is the old patina on the frame which I absolutely love, the build up of wear gives this piece of mahogany furniture so much character which is as it should be with a piece possibly dating from c1830.
Incredible to think that this chair is still here, nearly 200 years later! The condition is good for its age and it stands really solid because someone in it's past has very carefully handmade a stretcher to strengthen the base and stained it in to match the frame, again this is part of the chairs history and I wouldn't want to alter.
This is a heavy good quality piece and would work so nicely as a desk chair or statement piece in the lounge to use as additional seating when guests are visiting.

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
