Pair of Vintage Mahogany Floor Lamps with Sculptural Shades

Stunning Pair of rare standing lamps made from mahogany. These sit on attractive pedestal bases and feature an unusual table to the middle section; The stands are possibly antique but definitely vintage and as such the wood has the original patina which has been revived with wood oil. These have been rewired at some stage in their history using modern tested fittings which fit into a normal plug socket and are fully working taking a standard bayonet lightbulb in vintage brass fittings. It may be worth rewiring these though again at some point due to the fact they are vintage however these are fully working at present.

I have then added a pair of modern sculptural lampshades in a neutral colour to compliment any room scheme. These would look great in a more modern country home but equally would compliment the cottage core look; lampshades are included with the sale however these are interchangeable should you want something different in style at a later date, or decide to change your decor.

Very unusual examples and considerably difficult to find two floor lamps exactly the same; these are perfect to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere in your home or a boutique hotel.

I can imagine these either side of a comfortable sofa providing a place for an evening drink and snacks when there is no space for a table; also would look amazing as bedside lamps to save on space, negating the need for bedside cabinets.

The condition is really good, however please not that these are vintage and will show minor signs of characterful wear, which add to the authenticity.
