The Coral is a beautiful large antique Chest of Drawers handpainted with a bespoke romantic faded ombre design to create an ethereal time worn look with a slighty modern twist.
The paintwork has been meticulously blended by hand using an artisan warm white clay and chalk paint fading into a coral colourway to suit the feminine lines of this antique piece.
Each drawer has ample space for clothing and features a stunning curved profile to the front, with the vintage handles intact and beautifully shaped bracket feet.
The chest retains its vintage character, with the interior cleaned and oiled to revitalise the wood; and the back of the piece treated the same way, then signed by the artist.
The paint finish has also been made to look authentically aged with coloured waxes, retaining the old charm of the chest whilst giving a it a fresh update.
The top has been refinished using a pale white wash to take out the orange tones of the old mahogany veneer and then sealed with a matt clear topcoat to protect from future wear and tear.

Please note all the drawers open smoothly and this piece stands really solid.
It does have some signs of use relative to the age of this piece, but I believe this to be part of the character and charm, showing it's story so far, since it was made in 19th Century.

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
