This is a Mid Century chest of drawers with original retro details such as the matt black brass handles, and restored wooden legs.
I would say it dates from the the 1950's as is made from a plywood/pine construction and has a very modern clean lines.
The frame is painted off white in Valspar Eggshell which is a little towards a very very light beige. The paint finish has a satin sheen to contrast with the patterned drawers and glossy finish.

The design on the drawer fronts has been created using handpainted paper which has then been cut up and collaged to create bespoke artwork. I used a monochrome palette for a striking ink blotted effect and this has then been sealed with glossy resin to create a shiny glass like appearance you will want to touch!
To finish this piece I have enriched the interior of each drawer and the legs with a glossy clear wood oil to enhance the grain and provide a nice contrast to the paintwork, adding more character to the overall look.
All in great condition with smoothly opening drawers, stands solid and signed on the reverse.

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
