Antique Victorian Mahogany Side Table, Circa 1890.
This is a beautiful and rare Antique 2-tier Side Table made from solid mahogany. Mahogany was a wood typically used in the Victorian era and by looking at the construction of this piece and the style, I believe it’s Victorian in date.
Whilst unusual, this piece has quite a classic design with 2 tiers, turned legs and a drawer featuring hand-turned knobs. The turning is quite elegant which places it in the Victorian period perfectly.
Condition wise, this is in good condition for it’s age, however please note the patina and finish have been preserved rather than removed, this is with the intention of keeping as much character and authenticity as possible, meaning there are signs of a previous life. That said the table has been cleaned up well and polished.
Such a lovely petite piece to use as a bedside table or stand by the sofa for a beautiful lamp. I am imagining lighting, a latte and books stacked underneath? Would add some authentic character to your living space and due to the size, it’s a piece that would fit anywhere in the house.
The condition of the table is good, however please keep in mind that this piece is over one hundred years old and hasn't been tampered with too much which for me is a positive; as such the condition is original and characterful. There are some minor scuffs and surface wear but these are entirely normal for a piece that has been used and loved over the years, and for me adds character not present in newly made pieces. The drawer opens smoothly and the table stands solid.

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

Return policy
We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
