The Sharon, named after my mum because she persuaded me to buy this even though at first it was a little worse for wear!
In the end, I didn't need much persuasion as the design of this bureau is stunning with the carved Oak Floral details and it's dainty proportions.
This dates from around the 1930's and as mentionned is made from solid oak with a stunning patina brought out with a delicate coloured paint effect which has been sealed to protect.
The minty green adds a contrast to the natural oak and really brings out the character of this piece, highlighting its features.
Includes the original key which does turn the lock and the interior has been refinished to match the exterior.
I really like the little cubby holes and mini drawer making this an ideal piece for a children's bedroom but equally would make a stunning piece for the grown ups. I can imagine this sitting pretty in the corner of a grown up bedroom, living room or kitchen.

The condition is good, and this stands solid.
Please keep in mind this piece is very nearly an antique so has the patina and character to prove it, that said it has been refinished professionally and the paint finish is smooth to the touch though it looks very rustic. There is no evidence of active woodworm but please note that all my pieces are treated as a precaution before resale.

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
