Mid Century textured Chest of Drawers with abstract design
Mid Century tall Chest of Drawers with 4 drawers made by British Maker ‘Symbol’ sitting on a retro style base.
To refinish this piece, the frame has been painted in Valspar ‘Downing Street’ Eggshell to contrast with the hand painted panels which have been painted in a textured abstract style to reflect a painted canvas. This is painted as part of a campaign I did with Denby Pottery and is inspired by the beautiful glazes on their pottery. I used shades of white, blue, green and grey to create the feeling of a landscape; then sealed with matt varnish to protect. I have left areas of natural wood such as the legs to highlight the artwork and the original handles have been primed and painted black. Please note this is entirely original artwork so is completely bespoke.
The drawers all glide smoothly and have been sanded and oiled inside to retain some character.
In great vintage condition and a chance to have some functional artwork in your home.

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
