‘The Bombe’ Bombe Chest is named after the French word meaning ‘Curve’ ...it figures! Originating in France hundreds of years ago, a chest like this would usually bulge out at the front and on the sides, narrowing towards the base; and this particular chest of drawers is no different with it’s elegant and eye catching shape.
A rustic and naturally time worn look has been created using layers of pink, teal and green which have been carefully distressed to add patina, and I love the metallic accents coming through from underneath.
The painted surface whilst textured is also quite smooth to the touch and this has been sealed with clear varnish to protect.
In good vintage condition and stands solid, this is a reproduction piece but does have some age to it and please note that the interior has been painted with a green eggshell.

We offer free delivery on small items, such as artwork. Smaller furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £30 and all larger furniture items are shipped at a flat rate of £60 per item.
When an order has been placed, I will contact a courier company within 24 hours to book in a collection. At that point your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.
We advise a usual delivery time of between 1 and 2 weeks, however this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within14 days, however please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.
