Sometimes I just can't believe what I get to do as a job.
If I said that this year I travelled 4375 miles to paint, would you believe me?!
To be honest, I can't really believe it myself, but it did actually happen! I travelled all the way to Madeira Beach in Florida to teach at Daydream Apothecary Paint's very first Annual Masterclass.
With my paintbrushes, flip-flops, and some suncream packed, I boarded the 9-and-a-half hour flight. It was only when I actually arrived in Florida that it finally dawned on me where I actually was. Wow... How on earth did this happen? And, all because of paint!
It was such a great experience where I met the most amazing people, and it was fair to say that the first masterclass for Daydream Apothecary was a great success! But, this all happened back in June 2022, so I bet you are wondering why I am telling you about it now.
To cut a very long story short, I’ll be going back across the pond. Yes, you heard it right, and I genuinely can’t believe it!
So I want to let you know that I’ll be teaching again whilst I’m out there. Not only because it is a rare occurrence to be able to paint with me, but also because this time we are heading to beautiful Maine to host an Artists Adult Summer Camp!
I really can’t begin to tell you how exciting this all is. This event has even more artists than we did in Florida and we’re all going to be sharing our techniques and design styles to help you with furniture art. I am genuinely humbled to be a part of it and can't wait to meet fellow painters I admire. And, I can't wait to meet you!
